걸어 다니는 호수
소의 커다란 눈은 호수 같다
그렁그렁 눈물이 고여 있는 호수
소가 눈 들어 앞산을 바라보니
앞산이 호수에 잠긴다
눈 들어 하늘을 바라보니
구름이 잠긴다
소가 꿈벅, 하고 눈을 감았다 뜨니
산이 눈을 빠져나오고
소가 또 꿈벅, 하고 눈을 감았다 뜨니
구름이 빠져 나온다
소는 느리게 걸어 다니는 호수를 가지고 있다
A Walking Lake
The cow’s large eyes are like a lake—
A lake pooled with tears.
As the cow looks up,
A mountain submerges in it.
As it looks up at the sky,
Clouds submerge in it too.
As it blinks,
The mountain slips out of it.
As it blinks again,
The clouds slip out too.
The cow carries a slowly walking lake with it.
