연둣빛 발걸음
어머니가 사 주신 양말 속으로
발을 쑥 밀어 넣는다
양말 속의 발가락들이 서로 기대고 히히덕거리며
야단들이다 목욕탕에서 물장난을 치는 아이들처럼
서로의 별명을 부르며 좋아라 한다
꼼지락거리는 발가락들을 다독거리며
출근을 한다 발가락들이 기대하는 눈빛을 떠올리며
결혼 기념 시계를 차고 출근복을 입고
머리 빗고 구두를 신고
집을 나가 언덕을 오른다
전철역으로 가는 봄 언덕에서 바라보는
앞산은 연둣빛이다
산은 나무들로 이루어져
양말 속의 발가락들처럼 서로의 이름을 부르고
숨바꼭질을 하고
휘파람을 불며 새들을 꼬드기고
햇살 틈에서 나붓거린다
일터로 가는 나의 발걸음 또한
연둣빛이다
A green footstep
The socks that my mother bought got my foot slid.
In which all my toes are giggling and hugging each other.
Like kids swimming in the tub, shouting their nicknames for fun.
Patting giggling toes, I leave for work thinking of their shining bright eyes.
Wearing a wedding watch on and groomed, I go out of home and walk on the hill.
Looking over from the spring hill on the way to the train station, the very front mountain shines green.
That mountain is full of trees,
Calling each other, playing a hide and seek, hooting for birds,
That are twirling in the sunshine.
On my way to work, I also have green lights on my footsteps
