다시, 사랑을 위하여
트럭 위
녹슨 철근들
한때 단단한 척추로 건물을 지탱하던
뼈들 달린다
모래 바람이 일고
힘든 노동에 울컥울컥 토하던 비린내
근육이 경련을 일으키고
견고한 뼈를 부식시키던 시간.
생에 드리운 짙은 그림자
굽이치던 모순과 은폐되던 의혹들
실핏줄처럼 이어지던 균열
어깨 짓누르던 무게를 벗고 달린다
만신창이 몸을 풀고
부서지지 않는 정신이 달린다
이제 다시 태어나 꿈꿀 것이다
시멘트 깊숙이 뼈를 세워 사랑을 할 것이다
향긋한 봄바람과 시원한 물소리를
단단한 몸에서 우러나오는
목소리를 사랑할 것이다

Again, To Love
Rusted iron rebar
Bones that once supported a building
Now lie on a truck
In the sandy wind
A fishy smell turns my stomach
Muscles twitch convulsively
Time erodes solid bone.
Deep shadows of meandering contradiction
And concealed suspicion
Cracks linked together like blood vessels
Pressed down on my shoulders
Shaking off the weights
My unbroken spirit runs
Though covered in wounds
My body is unfettered
Now, born again
I will dream
I will set iron bones deep in cement
And I will love
I will love the voices
That comes from my strong body
The fragrant spring winds
And cool water sounds
