나는 이분법을 두려워하지 않고
촛불을 선택했다
갈 수 있는 데까지 가겠다는 의지를
전략으로 구축했다
혁명 같은 촛불의 어깨를
겨울바람이라고 누를 수 있겠는가
동행만이 광장의 역사라고
촛불이 나의 손을 잡는다
우리에게 패배는 없으리라
나는 탱자나무처럼 무장하고
눈 내리는 전선을 응시한다
바위의 얼굴로 전진하리라
저 견고한 진지를 뚫으리라
At Candlelight Square (Poet : Maeng Munjae)
Without fearing a dichotomy,
I chose the candlelight.
I established my strategy—
It is my will to go wherever this candlelight takes me.
The shoulders of candlelight, like revolution—
Can even the fierce winds of winter suppress them?
Telling me that only going together is the history of the square,
The candlelight holds my hands.
There will be no defeat for us.
Armed like a hardy orange tree,
I stare at the snowy frontline.
I will go forward with the face of a rock.
I will break through the wall of that strong fortress.
